In 1983 a small number of attorneys noticed an overwhelming need for specialized services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Together, they created the nonprofit organization that we know today as the Georgia Law Center for the Homeless. GLCH provides transformative justice to those who are experiencing homelessness. Through lawyers, paralegals, social workers, advocates, and community volunteers, GLCH compassionately fights for justice and successful outcomes for our clients.
2018 marks the 35th anniversary of the Georgia Law Center for the Homeless providing free legal and social services to those experiencing homelessness. In honor of our 35 years of service, we are celebrating a yearlong campaign, #GLCH35, aimed at increasing awareness about our organization through social media, events, and community outreach. We hope to inform a greater population of the services available to individuals that are either homeless or imminently homeless through #GLCH35.
The more people that know about us, the more people we can assist on their journey out of homelessness.
